A student might raise to any greater positions in life but he have to remember the roots for his status were deeply rooted in his primary education,” said Supreme court judge Justice Jasti Chalameswar. He was addressing the gathering at the awards function of Ramineni Foundation at Guntur on Tuesday.

Spending hard earned money in rightful ways is a rare opportunity, and trustees of Ramineni foundation are following the generous philanthropist’s tradition he added. Justice Chalameswar presented awards to the 76 toppers of the district, 146 toppers from various mandals and other awards for nine meritorious students who have excelled in the 2016 march examinations.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao, minister for Andhra Pradesh human resource development department said that the state government is spending Rs 23, 000 crore on the development of education and has proposals to spend another Rs 5000 crores for the infrastructure development in the schools.

Minister of electricity Kimidi Kala Venkatarao, civil supplies minister P Pullarao,social and tribal welfare minister N Ananda Babu, Narasarao peta MP Rayapati Sambasivarao,Vinukonda mla GVSR Anjaneyulu,MLC AS Ramakrishna,and large number of local people representatives, officers and others participated in the programme.
