The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for the swapping of 10.25 acres of land belonging to Airports Authority of India (AAI) at Rajahmundry Airport with the equivalent extent of land belonging to the State government.

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for the swapping of 10.25 acres of land belonging to Airports Authority of India (AAI) at Rajahmundry Airport with the equivalent extent of land belonging to the State government. The proposal is intended to provide road connectivity to the villages around the Airport to facilitate ease of access to public of the area.

The proposal will provide road connectivity and thus, ease access to general public of area, especially facilitating access to farmers of their agricultural land.
