Cleanliness drive held in Sri City
The officers and staff of the Development Commissioner\'s (DC) office of Sri City SEZ took up the drive of cleaning the area and planting trees in the office premises, on Wednesday, as a part of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.
Tirupati: The officers and staff of the Development Commissioner's (DC) office of Sri City SEZ took up the drive of cleaning the area and planting trees in the office premises, on Wednesday, as a part of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.
Speaking after the programme, Specified Officer of Customs Vijaya Bhaskar said, with the call given by the Prime Minister, ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign was taken up with an aim to create awareness among the public on the importance of clean environment.
Senior officers of DC's office ASP Sarma, ADC MSN Murthy, Preventive Officer Satish Kamat, President (Works) and other senior officials and staff took part in the event. ‘Clean and Green’ is an ongoing activity carried out at regular intervals, and Sri City Foundation coordinates campaign.
