Vijayawada: The World Bank has released Rs 100 crore for implementing AP Rural Inclusive Growth Project in rainfed mandals in the State. The funds will be spent on seven mandals which were included in Andhra Pradesh after the state bifurcation.

According to officials, the amount would be spent on rural inclusive growth project for 2017-18. The officials have said the government had identified the mandals by taking consideration including the population of SC/STs and Girjans. The project has been initiated with the support of World Bank after the state bifurcation, the officials said.
