Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) : Conveying Dussehra greetings to the nation, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu alerted people about the demonic forces preventing development in the state.

In his message, Naidu said, "I wish the people of the state and nation, and all the Telugu people in India and abroad. Vijayadashami is the day of the victory of the good over evil and is the time of God's blessing positive thoughts. There are some evil forces that are trying to create obstacles to the construction of the Polavaram project and the Amaravati capital city. So, the people should be alert about such demonic forces preventing development."

He further sought the blessings of Goddess Durga for the development of the state.

The Chief Minister reminded that Vijayadashami is the festival that brings all rural cultural forms to the fore.

"The "Bommala Koluvu" (toys' exhibition) by children at their households represents their innovation. The koluvu gives a break to the children from their academic tensions," he mentioned.

The Chief Minister also reminded that though there is no water inflow into river Krishna from upper states and his government could manage to bring waters of river Godavari through the Pattiseema project to the ayakat of the Krishna delta.

Naidu further asserted that despite financial crisis post bifurcation, his government did not give up on the welfare schemes.

"The Government is successfully running a pension scheme and a farmer debt relief scheme in the state," he added.
