Ayudha puja at Bobbili Fort

Ancestors of Bobbili dynasty performed ayudha puja at Bobbili Fort on a grand note on Friday. As part of Dasara celebrations, Minister for Mines and Geology Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, who hails from the royal family and his brother RVSKK Ranga Rao (Baby Naina), performed special pujas to weapons which were used in Bobbili War in 1757.
Bobbili (Vizianagaram): Ancestors of Bobbili dynasty performed ayudha puja at Bobbili Fort on a grand note on Friday. As part of Dasara celebrations, Minister for Mines and Geology Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, who hails from the royal family and his brother RVSKK Ranga Rao (Baby Naina), performed special pujas to weapons which were used in Bobbili War in 1757.
Later, they offered prayers to throne which was used by their forefathers. They also participated in a procession taken out on the fort premises. Thousands of people attended the ceremony.
