Mass house warming on Oct 2
Housing Corporation chairman Varla Ramaiah on Friday said that the state government would perform house-warming ceremony for one lakh houses constructed for beneficiaries on October 2.
Vijayawada: Housing Corporation chairman Varla Ramaiah on Friday said that the state government would perform house-warming ceremony for one lakh houses constructed for beneficiaries on October 2.
Speaking to media here on Friday, he said the programme would be the biggest milestone in the history of housing scheme in the country. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would take part in the programme along with the beneficiaries.
The government had completed 1,10,396 houses by spending Rs 1,296 crore in a record time, he said. He also said the government would complete 12 lakh houses in next two years by spending Rs 16,000 crore. Besides, the government would take steps to plant saplings at all the houses across the state, he revealed. Housing Department officials Venkata Reddy and Mallikarjun were present.
