Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the progress of creating infrastructure facilities for the establishment of Kia Automobile Project at the airport premises as part of his visit to the district regarding wedding ceremony of Sriram, the son of minister Paritala Sunitha at Venkatapuram on Sunday.

Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the progress of creating infrastructure facilities for the establishment of Kia Automobile Project at the airport premises as part of his visit to the district regarding wedding ceremony of Sriram, the son of minister Paritala Sunitha at Venkatapuram on Sunday.

Addressing officials and Collector Veera Pandian at the review meeting on Kia Automobiles project, Naidu called upon both the officials and the Kia project management to stick to project establishment schedules. The officials should create infrastructure facilities at the project site while the Kia management should also set up the factory within the promised time. The Chief Minister promised to give all approvals needed for the project to take off in time.

District Collector Veera Pandian giving a power point presentation on the progress of the project said that temporary power connections had been given at the project site and drinking water facilities created by sinking new borewells for supplying drinking water to the project staff quarters and the training centre to be set up. Temporary accommodation has been provided to project officials at the tourism guest house.

The Collector said that environmental clearance and several NOCs were already issued. He said that cybernet connectivity has been given for surveying the project site with the help of drones. APIIC Zonal Manager Raghunath and DIC General Manager Sudershan Babu and others were present.
