Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao on Tuesday inaugurated an I-Town model police station at Narasaraopet in Guntur district.
Constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore, the police station is built in 7,000 square yards.
Speaking on the occasion, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao suggested the policemen to utilize the latest technology to the maximum and reduce the pending cases.
He also urged the police officials to focus on women related cases while tDGP N Sambasiva Rao announced that a women police station and traffic police station will soon be coming up in Narasaraopet
