TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is taking up suggestions of film directors apart from professional architects in designing the structures in Amaravati.

After engaging the services of national-award winning Telugu director SS Rajamouli in the designs for the government buildings like the Assembly complex, secretariat and high court in Amaravati, Chandrababu has now approached director Boyapati Srinu who has been given the task to develop Pavitra Sangamam as a spiritual tourism spot.

With the AP Government planning to construct permanent structures at Pavitra Sangamam near Vijayawada so as to develop it as the tourism centre, the Chief Minister convened a CRDA meeting in Amaravati which was attended by Boyapati Srinu.

The director proposed to construct a temple structure with water flowing beneath the temple and gave a presentation of his design for the proposed temple which has been reportedly cleared by Chandrababu.

The CM stated that they are conducting harati to the confluence of Krishna and Godavari rivers at Pavitra Sangamam.
