Govt asks people to select best design
The State government has put the designs of Ambedkar Smrithi Vanam online inviting public opinion to select the best of total four designs. Social Welfare Minister Nakka Ananda Babu told the reporters in Vijayawada on Friday that four consultancies had submitted designs to the State government on Ambedkar Smrithi Vanam.

Social Welfare Minister Nakka Ananda Babu told the reporters in Vijayawada on Friday that four consultancies had submitted designs to the State government on Ambedkar Smrithi Vanam.
“We put the videos of the four designs on website http://103.210.73.30/AmbedkarSmritiVanamProject/. People can suggest to the government the best design through selection options A,B,C and D and they can also mention the reasons for their selection,” he said.
The Ambedkar Smrithi Vanam is being built with an outlay of Rs 97.28 crore and would be a landmark destination in capital city Amaravati, the Minister said. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu laid foundation stone for Ambedkar Smrithi Vanam on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar in Amaravati.
