Govt striving for welfare of BCs, says official
The government has been implementing various schemes for the Valmiki and Boya communities and all the eligible persons should avail the benefits,’ said B Udayalakshmi, secretary of BC Welfare Department. She was speaking on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti here on Thursday.

To improve the technical skills among BC candidates, the government will sanction Rs10 lakhs and also providing coaching for IAS, IPS and Group I and II under NTR Vidyonnati Scheme, she elaborated.
