Three students attempt suicide
Three school-going children have attempted suicide by consuming pesticide at Mukkamala Village of Peravali Mandal in West Godavari on Thursday night. According to police, Nakka Prakash, 11, Nakka Narasimha Murthy,12 and Nangala Emmanuel, 5, went to school on Thursday morning.
Eluru: Three school-going children have attempted suicide by consuming pesticide at Mukkamala Village of Peravali Mandal in West Godavari on Thursday night. According to police, Nakka Prakash, 11, Nakka Narasimha Murthy,12 and Nangala Emmanuel, 5, went to school on Thursday morning.
Prakash is studying Class V, Narasimha Murthy, Class VI and Emmanuel second standard. All the three while returning from the school have quarrelled en route their houses. During the quarrel, the elder student brought a piece of glass from the dust and attacked one another.
All the three students went to their houses situated side by side in Mukkamala village.
When they told about the clash, their parents beat up the three boys for their misbehaviour with one another. The irate students left the houses in the night at 8.00 pm and consumed the pesticide available at the house. The parents immediately taken them to Tanuku government hospital.
The doctors said the boys are out of danger and put them under observation for 24 hours. The victims belong to Scheduled Tribe. Peravali police registered a case.
