Two-day World Space Week celebrations at SVCE from today
As part of World Space Week from October 4- October 10, Satish Dhawan Space Centre will organise celebrations at SV College of Engineering here from October 7
Kadapa: As part of World Space Week from October 4- October 10, Satish Dhawan Space Centre will organise celebrations at SV College of Engineering here from October 7 to 9, said Principal Dr PVN Reddy. The programme will be organised with an aim to sensitise the people over recent developments in space technology and uses of satellites and launching vehicles.
An awareness rally will be taken out from Visweswara Circle to the College on Saturday in the evening. Inaugural programme will be conducted on Sunday morning. Minister Adinarayana Reddy will be the chief guest on the occasion.
MP YS Avinash Reddy, District Collector T Baburao Naidu, MLA Amjad Basha, Mayor K Sureshbabu, College chairman Gangi Reddy, P Veeranarayana Reddy, Principal and others will be the honourary guests.
Valedictory function will be held on Monday evening where quiz competition winners will be given awards. Organisers asked the students, teachers, intellectuals and people across all walks of life to participate in the programme.
