9,235 layouts regularised
Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao distributed the documents to beneficiaries as part of Layout Regularisation Scheme at Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) office here on Friday. The HRD Minister participated in the programme, along with Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority Vice-Chairman P Basanth Kumar.
Visakhapatnam: Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao distributed the documents to beneficiaries as part of Layout Regularisation Scheme at Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) office here on Friday. The HRD Minister participated in the programme, along with Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority Vice-Chairman P Basanth Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that on the directive of the state government they called for applications in order to regularise the layouts which did not have approvals. “Of the 20,404 applications received, 9,235 have been regularised and 6,257 were rejected. As many as 4,912 applications are kept in pending,” he said. In connection with regularisation, revenue of Rs 106.54 crore was accrued, he mentioned.
