In a shocking development for the opposition YSR Congress in Vizianagaram district, MLC, North Andhra coordinator of the party K.Veerabhadra Swamy

Vizianagaram: In a shocking development for the opposition YSR Congress in Vizianagaram district, MLC, North Andhra coordinator of the party K.Veerabhadra Swamy resigned for the post on Sunday. Swamy told that he is not stepping out of active politics but he is unable to hold the post due to his ill health.

“Even though I was defeated in 2014 elections, I was offered the big responsibility by the president of the party and I became coordinator for the three districts and have been working as per the guidelines of the high command and worked to strengthen the party. But I am unable to coordinate with some leaders here and I want to resign.

Previously I informed this to YS Jaganmohan Reddy and now I will send my resignation to him. One more important thing is I don’t want to be the candidate from YSRCP from Vizianagaram assembly constituency but I will work for the welfare of common man and party too. I will stand for the party workers in this town and help them to grow up for further levels” he said.

Later, Swamy asserted that he had no misunderstanding with the party senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana and stated that Botcha was like his own brother.
