SRR and CVR Govt College alumni meet on October 26
Alumni of SRR and CVR Government College, Vijayawada, on Sunday decided to host get together programme of former students at the college on October 26. SRR and CVR College is the only Government Degree College  in the city and it was established in 1932.

It has a good history and promoted education for over eight decades. Principal Velaga Joshi, former MLA K Subbaraju, former mayor Tadi Sakuntala and 70 former students attended a meeting at the college on Sunday and unveiled a logo of the alumni meet.
Speaking on the occasion, former MLA K Subbaraju said he was the former student of the college. He said it will give him immense pleasure to participate in the alumni meeting.
Principal Velaga Joshi, was also alumnus of the college, and said that there is a huge response from the former students for the proposed get together. He said lecturer and alumnus P Srinivas has been appointed as the convener of the meeting christened as Sangamam.
