Sri Lankan President worships Lord
President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena accompanied by his wife Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari and son Daham Sirisena offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala during the Suprabhata Seva
Tirumala: President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena accompanied by his wife Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari and son Daham Sirisena offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala during the Suprabhata Seva on Sunday. On his arrival at Srivari temple, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal and Tirumala JEO K S Sreenivasa Raju welcomed the Sri Lankan President.
After darshan of the Lord, the President was given holy water - Teertham, and was extended Satari honours.
TTD Executive Officer and Tirumala JEO presented Srivari Prasadam, 12-sheet calendar-2018 and photo frame to Sirisena. Vedic pundits of the temple blessed the President and his wife at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Temple Dy EO Rama Rao, Peishkar Ramesh, reception officials Haridranath and others were present.
