Amravati (Andhra Pradesh): In a bid to enhance the efficiency in the governance of the state, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday approved the extension of MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with delegates and businessmen from Singapore, Taiwan and officials from infrastructural planning giant Surbana Jurong, who presented a study on the Ease of Doing Business Index based on research conducted in 21 states.
CM Naidu believes that the state government requires the expertise and resources from Singapore, in the areas of developing public policy, training of bureaucracy and capacity building.
The delegates and think tanks are soon launching a book based on this research, with the details of business models, attractiveness to investors and competitors.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also made delegates to get acquainted with the government portal, which maps real-time governance and working towards monitoring and grievance redressal.
