Chandrababu Naidu to embark on 9-day tour to three countries
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will embark on a nine-day tour to US, UAE and UK starting on October 18 during which he will take part in several meetings with investors, visit head office of Norman Fosters+Partners for finalising capital city designs and also receive the prestigious Golden Peacock Award.

The Chief Minster is scheduled to meet several important persons such as chairmen and CEOs of business houses and political personalities. “The primary objective of the visit is to attract investors to AP, bring available best practices in agriculture research from USA and finalise the capital city designs,” said Parakala Prabhakar, Advisor (Communications) to the State government, at a press conference at the Secretariat on Monday.
During the trip to the USA between October 18 and 20, the Chief Minister will have meetings with Iowa Governor and Agriculture Secretary, CEOs of IT some companies and participate in a meeting of Global Telugu Entrepreneur Network. He will also visit Iowa State University, which is offering advanced technology in seed production and has entered into an MoU with the AP government for establishing a Mega Seed Park in Kurnool.
“The Chief Minister will explain about Kurnool Seed Park to scientists and representatives of reputed seed companies in the meeting at Iowa varsity,” Prabhakar said. The Chief Minister will start his tour in UAE on October 21 during which he will have a meeting with Non-Resident Indians. He will attend several meetings such as Business Leaders Forum, National Bank of Dubai and meet industry leaders in Abu Dhabi.
“B R Shetti Group and LuLu Group will be arranging exclusive dinner meetings with prominent investors. The Chief Minister will also meet Omen Endowment Minister to discuss on AP Airport echo system. The tour in UAE will end on October 23,” Prabhakar said.
Naidu will have meeting with Norman Fosters+Partners in London on October 24, 25 and 26. He will discuss about the capital city designs with the master architect and finalise the designs. The Chief Minister will receive ‘Golden Peacock Award’ from Institute of Directors (IOD) under the category of Corporate Governance and Sustainability at an international conference in London.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to participate in UK-India Business Council round-table meeting and interact with CEOs of 10 companies. A high level delegation, including Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, P Narayana, Advisor to government P Prabhakar, Chief Minister’s personal secretary G Sai Prasad and CEO of Economic Development Board J Krishna Kishore will accompany the Chief Minister.
