India Post conducting National Postal Week celebrations to create awareness about the role of postal services in the lives of people. As part of the National Postal week, the department of posts, Tirupati Division is celebrating Savings Bank Day, Mail Day, Philately Day, Business Development Day and Postal Life Insurance Day to focus on various services provided by the department, said the Superintendent of Tirupati Division G Srinivasa Murthy. World Postal Day was celebrated to commemorate the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 in the Swiss capital Bern.
