Sainik School achievements hailed
The 126th meeting of Local Board of Administration (LBA) of Sainik School, Korukonda was held here at Eastern Naval Command(ENC). Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, ENC Vice Admiral HCS Bisht chaired the meeting which was attended by officers of ENC, officials from the State government and various representatives of Vizianagaram district administration.

Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, ENC Vice Admiral HCS Bisht chaired the meeting which was attended by officers of ENC, officials from the State government and various representatives of Vizianagaram district administration.
Chairman and members of the LBA took stock of the state of affairs of school and reviewed the progress of ongoing infrastructure and development projects. Principal, Sainik School, Korukonda, Colonel Rudrax Atri, apprised the board about the wide range of measures and
latest initiatives taken by the school for the multi-dimensional development of students.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman appreciated the achievements of school in academics, including entry into the National Defence Academy, sports and other extra-curricular activities. He applauded the staff and officers of school for the coveted achievement of securing first position in the All India Senior School Certificate examination (AISSCE) for Class XII by CBSE for 2016-17 amongst all the 26 Sainik Schools in the country.
