Participating as chief guest in the valedictory function of the World Space Week celebrations at QIS College of Engineering and Technology and QIS Institute of Technology in Ongole on Monday, Madhusudana Reddy said, “Most of the scientists in the ISRO are from rural places and students of government schools. Majority of us are not from the IITs or NITs, committed people from the normal engineering colleges.
The young people now are blessed with technology and tools at their reach. I request the young minds to shun ‘Chalta Hai’ attitude and never settle anything less. Anyone with the knowledge and dedication are welcome to work at the ISRO and you could be one of us too.
In this two days celebration of World Space Week at QIS College, about 10,000 students from 200 institutions visited the exhibition and learned about the LSV, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV and other satellites with their prototypes.” Later, the ISRO scientists handed over certificates and prizes to winners of quiz and best projects.
