Kadapa: Villagers of Surabhi and Lakshmipuram led by BJP district vice-president K Ramachandra Reddy squatted on the road on Monday demanding drinking water for the two villages. Ramachandra Reddy said the villages haven’t been supplied with drinking water for the past six months.
“The people are suffering with various diseases due to using of contaminated water in the villages during rainy seasons. The issue has been taken to MPDO several times,” he added. They submitted a memorandum containing their demands to the Chakrayapeta Tahsildar.
