82-cr loan sanctioned to Vadderas, says Murali

AP Vaddera Corporation Chairman D Murali said they had sanctioned Rs 82 crore loans to Vadderas in the state for the last three-and-a-half years. Speaking to the media at Pinakini Guest here on Tuesday, Murali said 13 units were sanctioned for 2017-18 and it was 19 during 2016-17 and would sanction 100 more units this year if necessary.

Speaking to the media at Pinakini Guest here on Tuesday, Murali said 13 units were sanctioned for 2017-18 and it was 19 during 2016-17 and would sanction 100 more units this year if necessary.

He said the state government had issued GO 18 for giving loans to a group of 5 people and each member would be given a subsidy of Rs 1 lakh and a bank loan of Rs 1 lakh. He said there were no members in the selection committee for identifying eligible beneficiaries and measures would be taken to induct suitable members very soon after discussing with the state government.

Murali said if any society applied for loan online and still they are not sanctioned then they would discuss with the bankers concerned for early sanction of loans. He said the Corporation is sanctioning Rs 10 lakh for abroad education and a support of Rs 25,000 would be given for the marriages similar to the Minority Welfare Corporation.

He made an appeal to the Vaddera people to utilise the opportunity. Vaddera community leader Malli Nirmala, Executive Director of BC Corporation Venkata Swamy, District BC Welfare Officer Narasa Reddy, local leaders Mastan Babu, Sankaraiah and others were present.
