Nellore: District Superintendent of Police (SP) PHD Ramakrishna said that verification of depositors in the AgriGold case will be done on October 13 and 14 at about 52 counters across the district. Speaking to the media at Umesh Chandra Conference Hall here on Tuesday, the SP explained that there are around 1.18 lakh AgriGold customers across the district.

In which, 5,576 customers had enrolled their details on the website and 1.12 lakh have enrolled at the CID’s office, he added. Ramakrishna also informed that verification of details, who enrolled on the website would be held on October 13 and 14. Verification of 1.12 lakh customers would be done from November 16 to 18, he said.

He also appealed to the customers to enrol their details at the CID office between November 20 and 21, who have not submitted their details till now. The venues for verification of depositors across the district have been finalised, he said.

They are Umesh Chandra Conference Hall for Nellore city, Kavali II-Town police station, Velugu office, MRO office, Sullurupet police station, Naidupet police station, Circle Inspector’s Offices at Vakadu, Venkatagiri, and Kovur, Buchireddypalem, Atmakur, Podalakur and Udayagiri; Venkatachalam police station, and at Kaligiri police station.

The SP made an appeal to the customers to bring original and a set of photostat copies of bonds, Aadhaar cards, receipts, and bank passbooks with them for verification. Responding to the Locked Housed Monitoring System, the SP said that they are getting good response from the public.

About 15,000 persons have downloaded the app and registered their details, said Ramakrishna. He stated that they had got 71 applications till now for the LHMS. Now, 15 applications for monitoring are in progress across the district, he added. Ramakrishna also urged the people to make use of LHMS App.
