Visakhapatnam: Responding to serious allegations against Two Town Inspector by a 18-year-old girl, who alleged that she was raped by his father and police are not taking action, Deputy Commissioner of Police Fakkeerappa K disclosed the facts in the case and said that according to the medical examination and medical opinion, there is no evidence against habitual sexual intercourse and sexual intercourse cannot be ruled out. The girl on Thursday, threatened the police that she would commit suicide, if police not arrest her father.

After the girl lodged a complaint, a case was registered in Two Town police station with Crime Number 261/17 under sections 376 (f), 506 R/w 34 IPC against the victim father A1 and brother A2 and cousin brother A3. During examination, the investigation officer found inconsistency in her statement and referred to medical opinion regarding victim’s mental health. The medical opinion disclosed that the victim was suffering from depression, depressive ideas in thought content, the DCP said.

Meanwhile, the accused 1 (father) has taking care of both daughter and son of his first wife. The accused 1, transferred from Visakhapatnam in 2013 and he arranged a caretaker to look after the victim, including day to day expenses. However, the victim demanded money from her father frequently to the tune of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 for lavish spending as evidences collected from SMSs.

During victim examination, time and place were not specified and inconsistent with her statement. Blood relatives of the victim stated that those allegations were baseless. The victim has approaching various women organisations to exert pressure on investigation as the matter was sensitive in nature thorough investigation is required to finalise the case, DCP Fakkeerappa K clarified.
