Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) N Sambasiva Rao has adopted 11 government schools present in the Mangalgiri Mandal.
He inspected one of the adopted Schools - Pedavadlapudi ZP School on Monday and suggested certain measures to upgrade the School in academics.
Speaking to the media, Sambasiva Rao said that the schools in the state need to be protected by the police hailing from the region.
The DGP also cautioned the local police to control the law and order situation prevailing near the school premises particularly during the evening hours and holidays.
