CM thanked for issuing orders
Muslim United Front (MUF) president Habeebur Rahman on Sunday thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for giving orders for reconstruction of Abu Bakar Masjid at Ramavarappadu Junction along the Ryves Canal Bund.Â
Vijayawada: Muslim United Front (MUF) president Habeebur Rahman on Sunday thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for giving orders for reconstruction of Abu Bakar Masjid at Ramavarappadu Junction along the Ryves Canal Bund.
He said the mosque was demolished for widening of the highway 17 months ago. Chandrababu Naidu during his whirlwind tour in the city on Saturday instructed the officials to take steps for reconstruction of the mosque on the banks of Ryves Canal.
Habeebur Rahman said Muslims were hurt when the mosque was demolished for widening of the highway and its reconstruction will give consolation.
He demanded that the government issue orders exempting the mosques, churches, temples and holy shrines from demolition for road widening works.
He also thanked Gannavaram MLA Vellabhaneni Vamsi for taking the mosque issue to the notice of the Chief Minister.
