Epidemic helpline set up at Ongole
Ongole: The medical and health department set up an epidemic helpline at the district headquarters and the DMHO asked the public to inform the officials about the presence of dengue or viral fevers in the district. The DRO ordered the Asha workers and ANMs to update the record of people suffering from fever for three days and inform the officials concerned immediately for further action. DMHO J Y

DMHO J Yasmine asked the public to call the 24-hour epidemic helpline at 8333995949 to inform about the people suffering from viral fevers and dengue. She said that a medical camp will be conducted in the area and necessary action would be taken to stop spread of fevers. In a teleconference held by DRO N Prabhakar Reddy with all medical officers at the PHCs in the district, he ordered the ANMs and Asha workers to collect information regarding people suffering from fever for more than three days.
