Fancy number auctioning today
After district transport department accrued Rs 46 lakh revenue through auctioning of fancy numbers recently, the department officials are getting ready to go for third phase of auctioning fancy numbers from Monday to Friday.
Visakhapatnam: After district transport department accrued Rs 46 lakh revenue through auctioning of fancy numbers recently, the department officials are getting ready to go for third phase of auctioning fancy numbers from Monday to Friday. Those numbers that were left over during online auction process will be allotted to the people through offline in this present phase, according to sources.
As part of third phase, of the 66 numbers, on each day 16 numbers will be auctioned. It was decided that only fancy numbers which costs Rs 10,000, Rs 20,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000 will be auctioned at DTC office in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalle Transport Office.
AP 31 DU series will be available at Visakhapatnam and AP 31 DV will be at Anakapalle. Those who interested to get fancy numbers are requested to reach the respective office and submit a DD.
