High drama at Kapu Corporation office
The state government surrendered the services of R Amarendra Kumar, who is working as managing director of AP State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Ltd. on deputation, to his parent department of animal husbandry department following a slew of allegations against him.
Amaravati: The state government surrendered the services of R Amarendra Kumar, who is working as managing director of AP State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Ltd. on deputation, to his parent department of animal husbandry department following a slew of allegations against him.
Backward Classes Welfare department secretary B Udaya Lakshmi directed Amarendra Kumar to hand over the complete charge of the post of managing director of Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation to the secretary of the department immediately.
Meanwhile, high drama took place in office of Kapu Corporation in Vijayawada on Sunday when the Amarendra tried to conduct a press meet but Kapu Corporation chairman Ch Ramanujaya obstructed him leading to verbal exchange between them.
Ramanujaya told Amarendra that he would not be allowed to conduct press meet and asked to leave the office. He also expressed suspicion that Amarendra may tamper records in the office in the backdrop of the corruption allegations against him.
When the Amarendar told the chairman that he had directions from the chief executive officer of the corporation, Ramanujaya was agreed to participate in the press meet.
