Rajakas demand SC status
The state government is committed to the development of Rajaka community under the integral development programme of back ward castes, said P Pulla Rao, Minister for Civil Supplies. He was addressing the Rajaka youth meeting here on Sunday.Â
Guntur: The state government is committed to the development of Rajaka community under the integral development programme of back ward castes, said P Pulla Rao, Minister for Civil Supplies. He was addressing the Rajaka youth meeting here on Sunday.
Minister assured the Rajaka community that he will bring to the notice of the Chief Minister about their demands and will render justice in political and education sectors.
The representatives of Rajakas from different districts of the state demanded that their caste be included in SC category as it was the case in several states. Telugu Desam Party also included the promise in their election manifesto Patapati Anji Babu, Chairman of United Forum of Rajakas, presided over the meeting. Sankarappa, MLC from Karnataka, also attended the meeting.
