Vizianagaram: Differences between Minister for Mines and Geology RV Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao and MLAs are creating confusion among the TDP cadres.

MLAs M Geetha (Vizianagaram) and K Appala Naidu (Gajapathinagaram) are not accepting the leadership of the Minister for Mines and Geology RVSK Ranga Rao. It may be recalled that Ranga Rao had defected to TDP from YSRCP and was inducted into ministry in the recent Cabinet expansion. Appla Naidu, Geetha, MLAs and MLCs of the district opposed the entry of Ranga Rao into TDP.

These leaders are sailing with Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who is the In-Charge Minster of the district. They are frequently meeting him in Vizag and sharing their views with him. Appala Naidu is not including the photo of Ranga Rao in the flexies installed by him. He is of the opinion that being a senior leader, he that he is senior in the party and he need not recognise any others including Sujay in this district.

According to sources, Appala Naidu did not invite Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao to his constituency to participate in ‘Intintiki TDP’ programme which was organised in the district.

It is learnt that MLA K Lalitha Kumari (S Kota), who tried for get cabinet berth, was maintaining good relations with Sujay. Similarly, P Narayana Swamy Naidu (Nellimarla), a senior MLA, also meeting the Minister. The non-cooperation between the MLAs and the Minister is creating uncertainty among cadres in the district, according to sources.
