Smart Cop award to Kanigiri Inspector

The first Smart Cop award, introduced by SP Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu, is given to Kanigiri Inspector of Police M Subbarao. The SP of Prakasam district introduced the Smart Cop award to recognise and encourage the police officers in the district for solving the cases.

The SP selected M Subbarao, the Inspector of Kanigiri for solving a case of rape and murder of girl in PC Palli police station limits. The inspector solved the case by arresting the culprit when there are no available witnesses and no identity cards of the accused available for tracing him. Additional SP (Admin) ABTS Udayarani, SB DSP U Nagaraju and DCRB B Mariyadasu congratulated the inspector.
