‘Vandella Kadaku Vandanaalu’ book to be launched
Veteran film actor, writer and columnist Gollapudi Maruti Rao has come up with a new book titled as ‘Vandella Kadhaku Vandanaalu’ which will introduce 116 great Telugu writers of all time. This book is based on his research work and his HMTV programme – ‘Sahithi Sanchika’ which ran for two-and-a-half years.

Speaking to the media at the pre-release event of his new book at the Builders’ Association Building in the city on Sunday, Maruti Rao said that it would be an important book on Telugu literature as it introduces best writers of the language.
As a pre- publication offer, those who order the 1364 pages book before its publication will get it for Rs 1,000. The actual cost of the book has been fixed at Rs 1,200. Along with the book, the DVD consisting title song of the show and 25-minutes documentary about literature would be given.
Dr S Vijay Kumar, founder of Vijay Nirman Company has sponsored the book and it was being published by Suri Babu.
