Visakhapatnam: Bus driver killed, five injured in road accident

A bus driver was killed in a tragic road accident after a lorry rammed into an RTC bus in Visakhapatnam district on Monday.

The incident occurred near the Payakaraopeta highway when the bus heading towards Rajamahendravaram from Visakhapatnam got hit by the lorry.

Five passengers in the bus sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Tuni area hospital. Their condition is learnt to be stable.

Locals nearby stated that overspeeding is the reason behind the accident. A case has been registered in this regard.
