Tirupati: As part of statewide call, the YSRC, SFI and AISF students’ unions enforced corporate colleges bandh across the district on Monday, demanding the ruling government to cancel the recognition of Narayana and Sri Chaitanya colleges in the state.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Collector to take necessary action against the corporate colleges which are exerting pressure on the students to secure high marks.

A dharna staged by YSRCP student union activists led by district president Hariprasad Reddy in front of Narayana Junior College at MR Palle. Speaking to the media, Hariprasad demanded that the government should cancel the recognition of Narayana and Sri Chaitanya colleges.
