Call to participate in Swachh Bharat
As part of the Police Martyrs’ Week, the city police on Tuesday conducted Swachh Bharat programme on the premises of the Government Girls’ High School near Pedda Market here and cleaned garbage and bushes from the premises.
Kurnool: As part of the Police Martyrs’ Week, the city police on Tuesday conducted Swachh Bharat programme on the premises of the Government Girls’ High School near Pedda Market here and cleaned garbage and bushes from the premises.
Rayalaseema Range IG Shaik Mohammad Iqbal, Superintendent of Police (SP) Gopinath Jetti, Municipal Commissioner Harinath Reddy and civic staff took part in the programme. The IG appealed to everyone to be involved in the programme. The SP said that youth participated in good numbers in the programme held in the school, which is very popular in the city with a good number of girls enrolled as students.
The municipal commissioner said that the sanitation programme was implemented in Silver Jubilee College, Urdu School for Girls, B-Camp Government Schools and so on. Additional SP Shaik Shavali, OSD Ravi Prakash, home guard commandant Chandramouli, DSP Qadar Basha, CIs Muralidhar Reddy and Mulakanna, SI Srikanth, policemen, youth association members and others took part in the programme.
