Tirupati: Pilgrim city will host the state-level youth festival in November. Tirupati MLA M Suguna said that the Tirupati got another chance to conduct a state-level event for youth. Addressing the gathering at district youth festival held at SV Music and Dance College here on Tuesday, the MLA said that rural youth should make use of the cultural programmes to exhibit their talent.

Festivals like these will provide an opportunity for the youth to showcase their talent, she added. Tirupati MP Dr N Sivaprasad said that those who have performed at SV Music College have reached great heights. The MP recalled that he also performed once in that college. Earlier, the competitions were held for the first prize winners at the divisional-level at Madanapalle, Chittoor and Tirupati.

The 15 winners who stood in the first place in the events like folk song, folk dance, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, flute, tabla, mrudangam, elocution, vocal etc., at district event will participate in the state-level. TUDA chairman G Narasimha Yadav, SETVEN CEO AD Jyothi, Music College Principal Dr Padmavathi, SETVEN manager Narayana Naidu and assistant manager Mohan were present.
