Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a lavish VVIP lounge at Visakhapatnam Airport on Tuesday. The state government constructed the centrally air-conditioned lounge with 4,200 sft plinth area in which 300 seating capacity conference hall, an exclusive Chief Minister’s chamber and pantry rooms.
Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a lavish VVIP lounge at Visakhapatnam Airport on Tuesday. The state government constructed the centrally air-conditioned lounge with 4,200 sft plinth area in which 300 seating capacity conference hall, an exclusive Chief Minister’s chamber and pantry rooms. With this new facility, the Chief Minister will convene meetings with the VIPs, officials and others in the lounge.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personal guarding the airport and the forces are not allowing the people and others to meet the VVIP at airport. During his visits to Visakhapatnam, Chandrababu Naidu observed the inconvenience to organise some meetings with the officials. With the Chief Minister’s diretive, the district administration constructed the VVIP lounge at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. The officials, VIPs and others now can wait in the lounge to meet the Chief Minister.
While inaugurating the lounge, Chandrababu Naidu said that with the new facility now the officials and others would not have any problems with the CISF personnel. Meanwhile, a large number of women from Thadi village met the Chief Minister at the VVIP lounge and informed that they have been suffering from high level pollution from the pharma companies located close to the village. They requested the Chief Minister to replace the pharma companies. Responding to the issue, the Chief Minister assured the women that he would check pollution issues with the officials.
