Chandrababu's three day US trip overview

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has concluded his USA tour on Saturday and reached UAE to meet Saudi KIng Salman today.

Chandrababu, leading a high-level delegation in USA, assured all cooperation to the IT companies who are interested to invest in Andhra Pradesh.

He also met with the Governor of Iowa Kim Reynolds IA during the Round Table Conference at Iowa State University Seed Park where he spoke regarding the agricultural transformations taking place in AP.

The Chief Minister met with representatives from around 80 IT companies from all over USA with an aim to start 500 new IT firms in the state within the next 12 months.

Over 450 NRIs have shown interest towards the investment opportunities in AP and confirmed 100 MoUs which will create 8000 direct & 12000 indirect jobs in IT sector.

TANA representatives offered to raise funds for development of AP by conducting 5k runs in 20 cities of US. They held discussions with Chandrababu on the possibility of building TANA Bhavan in Amaravati, with an investment of $2M.

Chandrababu also participated in the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) round table conference on the 2nd day of US visit and highlighted AP's vision of development along with showcasing the progress being made in Agriculture Sector.

He also visited DuPont Pioneer in Iowa where he discussed methods to improve agricultural productivity and enquired about crop genetics.
