  • Alleges Naidu was against Polavaram while in oppn, reiterates the project cannot be completed by 2019

Speaking to media here on Sunday, Narayana wanted to know how AP finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu got Rs 2,000 crore contract works and how women and child welfare minister Paritala Sunitha and TDP MLC Payyavula Keshav’s family members got beer factory licences in Telangana state.

It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy alleged that the Andhra TDP leaders had shown extreme respect when Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao attended Paritala Sunitha son’s marriage at Venkatapuram just because they received favors from him.

Alleging that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was against Polavaram project, Narayana said that he was ready to prove it and reminded that the TDP had worked against the extension works of Polavaram and Pothireddypadu projects when it was in Opposition.

He said that it was not possible to complete the Polavaram project by 2019 as the government was not practical in regard to works of project. How the government will construct the project without doing justice to oustees, he asked and said that it was not correct on the part of ruling TDP to criticise the opposition leaders accusing them of obstructing the project while in reality they were sincerely striving for its completion.

He demanded the state government to own up the responsibility for suicides being committed by students in corporate colleges in Andhra Pradesh. CPI AP state secretary Ramakrishna demanded the state government to initiate action against municipal administration minister P Narayana and HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao over student suicides.
