Pithapuram: On the occasion of ‘Nagula Chaviti’ coinciding with ‘Karthika Somavaram’, local legislator S V S N Varma performed pooja to snake pit at Padagaya temple here on Monday. Earlier, he performed special poojas to the presiding deities of the temple. Temple Executive Officer Chandaka Dorababu, temple staff and TDP leaders were also present. People in large numbers thronged the temple.
