It may be recalled that Jagan Mohan Reddy Padayatra has been postponed to 6th November against original schedule of 2nd November as Jagan Reddy has to attend of his cases in courts.

Following the directions of the party supreme, party leaders Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, Rayachoti MLA Srikanth Reddy, Railway Kodur MLA Srinivasulu ,Kamalapuram MLA Ravindranath Reddy, Mydukuru MLA Raghu Rami Reddy , Kadapa MLA Amzad Basha , Jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy and others have visited Pulivendula on Tuesday for pursuing the arrangements.

It may be recalled as per the old schedule, Jagan Reddy yatra was proposed to start from Idupulapaya at his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s tomb and concludes at Rayachoti. As per the latest information, leaders have visited Pulivendula on Tuesday and it was proposed to start the yatra from Idupulapaya. It passes through Gandi Kshetram , Vempalle and enters Rayachoti in Chittoor district where Jagan Reddy’s sister Sharmila launched her padayatra in the past.

It is planned that in the first phase of padayatra would be conducted in 125 constituencies out of the total 175 constituencies in the state .“ It is only our proposal final decision would be left to the Jagan Mohan Reddy” said a leader. “ We are confident that our party president Padayatra would yield positive result with the people of the State are eagerly waiting for Jgan Mohan Reddy to come to power as they vexed with the TDP rule.” Said Kadapa Avinash Reddy to Hans India.

Party leaders held discussions with the party mandal presidents, sarpanches who were elected with YSR Congress banner, local leaders, and party functionaries.

Meanwhile opposition parties intensified criticisms over padayatra of Jagan describing it as ‘Jail Yatra’. Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president N Tulasi Reddy who recently visited Kadapa opined that nothing will happen with the padayatra of Jagan as he lost confidence in the public. TDP district president Srinivasulu Reddy described Jgan Reddy padayatra as Jail yatra.
