Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who is all set to conclude his foreign tour today has successfully participated in various conferences in USA, UK, and UAE.

Chandrababu Naidu in his US tour met with industrialists, agricultural scientists, and CFOs of seed companies exercising to attract investors.

Chandrababu, leading a high-level delegation in the USA, assured all cooperation to the IT companies who are interested to invest in Andhra Pradesh.

He also met with the Governor of Iowa Kim Reynolds IA during the Round Table Conference at Iowa State University Seed Park where he spoke regarding the agricultural transformations taking place in AP.

The Chief Minister met with representatives from around 80 IT companies from all over the USA with an aim to start 500 new IT firms in the state within the next 12 months.

Over 450 NRIs have shown interest towards the investment opportunities in AP and confirmed 100 MoUs which will create 8000 direct & 12000 indirect jobs in IT sector.

TANA representatives offered to raise funds for development of AP by conducting 5k runs in 20 cities of US. They held discussions with Chandrababu on the possibility of building TANA Bhavan in Amaravati, with an investment of $2M.

Chandrababu also participated in the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) roundtable conference and highlighted AP's vision of development along with showcasing the progress being made in Agriculture Sector.

He also visited DuPont Pioneer in Iowa where he discussed methods to improve agricultural productivity and enquired about crop genetics.

Chandrababu informed that the state is in the first place in Ease of Doing Business and aims to garner 15 percent Growth Rate in the next 15 - 20 years adding that the Growth Rate of AP is higher than India's average Growth Rate - 11.72 percent.

After concluding his USA tour, Chandrababu met Saudi King Salman in UAE. He inaugurated Digi Lab Cutting Edge Technology in UAE Stock Exchange, met with CEOs of Mubadala group and also held talks with Al Shimary regarding their company in Abu Dhabi.

Seeking investments for AP, Chandrababu spoke to Mubadala company Deputy CEO Al Shimary in this regard and requested to form a joint committee. According to the reports, the company is keen to invest to develop Energy Storage system in AP.

UAE Minister of Economy, Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori held talks with Chandrababu on growing road network and waterways following which both agreed to work in the areas of Block Chain, IT and Fintech.

Chandrababu announced that AP intends to further their relationship further making it an integrated logistics hub for the Emirates.

According to his proposal, Vizag, Amaravati, and Tirupati will soon be connected to Dubai apart from the establishment of MRO facilities in AP.

The team from Emirates is learned to have shown interest in the development of an airport along with the establishment of an aviation academy in AP.

Chandrababu officially inaugurated UAE Exchange’s permanent showcase of innovation and digital assets, DigiLab at its global headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

During the UK-leg of his tour, Chandrababu received the Golden Peacock Award from Institute of Directors for Leadership in Transferring Governance at an international conference in London.

In the category of Excellence in Corporate Governance and Sustainability, Heritage Foods Limited Company has been selected for the Golden Peacock Award and Nara Bhuvaneswari, the wife of Chandrababu, who is also the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Heritage Foods Limited Company will be receiving the award.

The Chief Minister also interacted with the architects of the UK firm Norman Foster+ Partners and finalized their latest designs for the iconic structures in AP state capital, Amaravati.
