Vijayawada: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday visited Cincinnati University in Ohio, USA. He and his team held discussions with the university Vice-Prof Ann char Eden and asked him to conduct training classes to the professors in Navyandhra.

He responded positively and agreed to conduct training classes to the teaching faculty in the universities and added that they will first visit AP in the third week of November.

Ganta and his team studied teaching procedures, facilities, infrastructure in the university and secured details on the online courses conducted by the university. The university team from Ohio said that after visiting the State they will enter into a MoU to conduct training classes to the faculty.

Later, the Minister held a meeting with the Professors in the university and sought information about the teaching methods in the university. Later, Ganta and his team visited Franklin University in Ohio. They met Prof. Christopher and inquired about online courses conducted by the universities.

Representatives of the university agreed to visit AP and resolved to enter into a MoU on online courses. Adityanath Das, Principal Secretary, Education, Advisor to the AP Council of Higher Education Edara Venkat and AP government special representative in USA, Komati Jayaram, accompanied the Minister.
