Seema IG assures amenities in Yemmiganur hospital
Rayalaseema range IG Mohammad Iqbal has cancelled the contract awarded to sanitary contractor of government hospital here and assured to provide basic amenities in the hospital.
Yemmiganur: Rayalaseema range IG Mohammad Iqbal has cancelled the contract awarded to sanitary contractor of government hospital here and assured to provide basic amenities in the hospital.
Participating in the hospital development committee meeting held here on Thursday, the IG assured the hospital management to provide basic amenities to keep the hospital premises clean. He assured to provide X-ray facility, ECG equipment and power generator on behalf of the police department.
He asked the people to patronise the government hospitals. He said that the police department would provide amenities to government schools and hospitals in Kurnool district and asked medical officers to constitute a team to conduct blood tests to students of government schools.
He also promised 12 hospital beds and a shed on the premises of hospital to enable the attendants of patients to take rest. The hospital will get a new coat of paint soon. MLA BV Jayanageswara Reddy urged the medical and health commissioner to appoint a gynecologist and a general physician to the hospital.
