Hyderabad: In a major drive to reach out the unheard masses of Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP chief and the Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced his padayatra, Praja Sankalpa Yatra, from November 6 onwards. The padyatra will last for six months and cover 125 Assembly constituencies in 13 districts of the State.

Addressing a gathering here on Thursday, some of the senior leaders Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and Ummareddy Venkateswarlu of YSR Congress Party said, “The main objective of this padyatra is to promote development in the region of Andhra Pradesh which has been put on the backfoot by Chandrababu Naidu government.”

The padyatra is aimed at reaching out to two crore people and every house in the constituency, where the chief of YSRCP, JaganMohan Reddy would personally listen to the grievances of the people in the region. He will also interact with the people belonging to the special needs category.

With CBI special court in Hyderabad rejecting Jagan’s plea for an exemption from personal appearance in the ongoing trial in various disproportionate assets cases, YS Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to take a break every Friday and resume the march the next day.

The bus yatra will initially start with 50 Assembly constituencies and the rest would be covered on foot. The Padayatra will start from Idupulapaya and conclude at Ichapuram.
