25 GITAM students clear Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exam
In all, 25 students from GITAM University passed ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) examination this year. The ACCA is a global professional body and it is recognised by member states of European Union and the United Nations.
Visakhapatnam: In all, 25 students from GITAM University passed ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) examination this year. The ACCA is a global professional body and it is recognised by member states of European Union and the United Nations.
The ACCA professional qualification covers all areas of business like management accounting, business taxation and law to audit and also business ethics.
GITAM University Institute of Management and ACCA signed an MoU to offer a specially designed professional accountancy course which helps the students to earn both a degree and a globally recognised professional accountancy qualification which is based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
GITAM is the first university in Andhra Pradesh to sign the MoU with ACCA to offer B Com (Hon) with ACCA. Principal of GITAM Institute of Management P Sheela lauded the students for clearing ACCA examination.
